33rd Birthday

April 2, 2006 - Floyd woke up at 3:30 am, he has to be up early because every First Sunday of the month, the worship service starts at 4:00 am. I was still very sleepy at that time. Floyd moved very slowly and he left after dressing up. Then when he left, a text message came from Aiza Mae, one of our youth in Bo. 3 and she greeted me a Happy Birthday. Though still very sleepy, I felt good reading her message, then came Kathylene's birthday greetings (through text), then came Mr. and Mrs. Mateo's text message, Eloisa, mom, Buddy, my brothers and sisters-in-law and many more. Then I woke up at 6 am and spent time with the Lord. I am thankful to God for giving me another year, for the privilege of serving Him. I thanked Him for friends and family who loves me unconditionally and most of all, I thank God for my husband. Floyd has been God's great blessing to me. God has blessed us with a wonderful (though not perfect) relationship. Thank you Lord for my loving and wonderful husband. I also thank God for our Christian family in Bo. 3 Baptist Church, their love for us keep us going.

After spending time with the Lord, I went upstairs for my breakfast. Van was there, and she greeted me a happy birthday and gave me a bouquet of roses. She was in a hurry at that time because she's going to take a Civil Service exam. Then I had my breakfast and later Floyd arrived. He was busy texting but I had no idea who's on the other line :-) Later, I saw Jenny and Wowie bringing a bouquet or roses. I was really surprised. I did not expect that they would come but I'm glad they came. Then they said that they were waiting for Mahal but as usual Mahal is late again hahahahaha. When Mahal came, they gave me a simple card but it was specially made for me. Here's what's written in the card:

Dear Ate Leah,

Thanks for being a big part of our lives...We just can't say how happy we are that God sent us a person like you. Thank you very much for all you've done for us, thanks for sharing with us a part of your life. Thank you for being our Ate, 2nd Mama and being a good friend. Thanks for spending not just your time, effort but thanks for spending your life with us. All we want is for you to be happy always and hope that we do by just sending you this birthday card.

Happy Birthday Ate Leah and we love you so much!!...
